How do we define Growth-Driven Design?
01
The Methodology
At its core, Growth-Driven Design (GDD) is the methodology that promotes iterative, small-scale website improvements based on data and user experience.
As HubSpot puts it, GDD is an investment that produces reliable month-over-month growth. Your website becomes stronger as you continue to measure, iterate and act.
02
The Launchpad Website
The overarching goal of GDD is to not get bogged down by a slow, costly, and confusing website project.
The first step to building a web experience that converts is to develop an empathetic understanding of your audience's world and how the website can solve problems along their journey. We work with you to develop a deep understanding of your unique value and identify pathways to conversion for each unique buyer persona.
Then, we work with you to quickly build a website that looks and performs better than what you have today - knowing that it isn't the final product. We call this your Launchpad Website. It's the foundation from which we will build and optimize.
03
Continuous Improvement
Once your Launchpad Website is live and begins to collect data, you'll be able to make data-driven decisions in real-time and identify high-impact actions that you can take to grow your business. Through this live data feed, your website is now the most critical member of your revenue team.
At House of Revenue®, this methodology is a critical component as we help you build your revenue foundation. Our goal is to enable you to make data-driven decisions at every level of your business as efficiently as possible.
In the modern buying era, that begins with your website.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with
ReturnSafe to develop messaging, brand direction,
and a launchpad website as they navigated the
rapidly evolving "return-to-work safety" industry.
Phase 1 | Scope
-
The first step of our process is to set proper expectations. We'll help your entire team gain a clear understanding of the Growth-Driven Design methodology.
-
During this time we also make sure our website timeline is in lockstep with our holistic revenue foundation plan.
-
Role clarity in any website project is critical. We'll align with you on key stakeholders from our teams for essential items like website copy, creative, QA, and website DNS settings.
-
We will work with you hand-in-hand on a Launchpad Website Version 1 inclusion list. From this list, we will develop the scope and send you a proposal for the project.
-
Lastly, we need to gain approval on the budget, scope, and timeline for our project.
Phase 2 | Align
-
During this phase, it's critical that we align on the aesthetic direction for your site before we begin to build.
-
Our goal is to make sure we select a HubSpot CMS theme that empowers your marketing team long-term.
-
We will ask: What special features might our launchpad website need? Is anything custom required?
-
We need to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of what the Build Phase looks like.
-
Once our teams are aligned, we will begin to build the copy and creative for all of our launchpad pages!
Phase 3 | Build
-
Time to get to work building our Launchpad Website!
-
Now that we've aligned on your brand aesthetic and messaging, we begin to build individual webpage copy documents and develop creative assets.
-
We also ask, what custom modules and conversion experiences do we need to build based on your unique business model?
-
We ensure that our feedback loops are kept open throughout the entire process.
-
Now that we've begun to build our Launchpad Website, we can begin conceptualizing a future-state roadmap.
Phase 4 | Quality Assurance (QA)
-
At this point, we've been working on our project for 6-8 weeks. It's now time to cross our T's and dot our I's.
-
Our team will develop a QA document for us to collaborate on and identify areas for improvement, tweaks, design advancements, etc.
-
The QA phase ensures we have a functional and optimized Launchpad Website.
-
We will spend one week internally and two weeks with you and your team to ensure sufficient time for feedback and required Version 1 updates before launch.
-
Towards the end of the QA phase, we will send you a comprehensive "launch-week" itinerary and walk you through the process of going live.
Phase 5 | Iterate
-
We're officially live! But, the job's not done. After launch, we always take seven days to monitor, tweak, and optimize before announcing our big reveal to the world.
-
After a week of monitoring, we begin executing our post-launch roadmap.
-
We will continue to iterate our roadmap now that your inbound engine is live and gathering user data.
-
Your website is officially a living member of the revenue team!
